I certainly tried
A downloadable game for Windows
About
"I certainly tried" is a short game about preparing a DnD One Shot. Only one day left until the session. The Problem: You haven't done much so far and your notes and props are a mess. So let's go, you got stuff to do!
Getting started in DnD isn't easy, especially as a new DM. If you want to start with your own adventure, then this is for you.
The game was created as a part of my bachelor's thesis at the Hochschule Ansbach, which is about videogames and tools about and for D&D.
Feedback is always welcome. Have fun!
Controls
Known Bugs:
-Probs Level: dropping figures on pedestals can sometimes be glitchy -> workaround: drop them on the pedestals first and then attach weapons
-Maps: Clicking the Next Level button affects the tiles behind it -> workaround: choose the tile which you want to place at the button postion and then click the button
